FAQ

How many badges are in THRESHOLD?
Five, as of October 5, 2026: Welcome to THRESHOLD!, Played Story Mode, Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR], Played Chase Mode and Won Chase mode. All five are confirmed through the official Roblox badge API and all are currently obtainable.
What is the rarest THRESHOLD badge?
Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR] has the fewest awards of the five — 275,480 on October 5, 2026 — which makes it the rarest badge by award count. Won Chase mode is the next scarcest at 775,017.
How do you get the Won Chase mode badge?
Win a full Chase Mode match. Winning is the real challenge — roughly one in five of all Chase Mode badge awards has been a Win, 775,017 against 3,823,369 Played awards on October 5, 2026.
Why do all THRESHOLD badges have the same picture?
The developer reused the game's icon art for every badge. Each badge has its own icon asset on Roblox's CDN, but all five files come down identical through the thumbnail API.
Do THRESHOLD badges give rewards?
No badge rewards have been confirmed. The official game description ties its rewards to liking the game and joining the Roblox group, not to badges.

How many badges are in THRESHOLD on Roblox?

THRESHOLD currently has exactly five badges, all confirmed through the official Roblox badge API on October 5, 2026: Welcome to THRESHOLD!, Played Story Mode, Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR], Played Chase Mode and Won Chase mode. There are no hidden or disabled badges on the game’s universe right now, and every badge on the list is currently obtainable.

Badge Awarded for Times awarded*
Welcome to THRESHOLD! Joining the game 4,929,016
Played Story Mode Starting a Story Mode session 885,422
Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR] Finishing Episode 1 of the story 275,480
Played Chase Mode Entering a Chase Mode match 3,823,369

Award counts: official Roblox badge API, checked October 5, 2026. These are activity counters that rise every day, so treat the table as a snapshot of that date rather than live totals.

If you have not picked a mode yet, our beginner guide explains how the story campaign and Chase Mode differ before you commit either way.

How do you get the Welcome to THRESHOLD! badge?

Welcome to THRESHOLD! is the game’s join reward — it unlocks just from entering the experience, so it is impossible to miss. It is by far the most common of the five, with about 4.9 million awards as of October 5, 2026, which makes it the closest thing the game has to a player counter.

What is the Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR] badge?

Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR] is the story-completion badge — the name says it is tied to finishing Episode 1 of the story campaign, not merely starting it. With 275,480 awards on October 5, 2026 it is the scarcest of the five: fewer than one in three of the 885,422 Played Story Mode awards came with a finish.

The bracketed [DESPAIR] tag is the one mystery on the list. Walkthrough channels consistently title the story run “Episode 1 Despair”, which suggests the tag is part of the episode’s official name rather than a separate mode — but whether it also refers to the episode’s ending is not confirmed anywhere official yet. If it turns out to be an ending name, we will break endings out onto a dedicated page of its own.

How do you win the Won Chase mode badge?

Won Chase mode is the badge for winning a Chase Mode match — a full successful run, not just joining one. It is the game’s real skill check: of the 3,823,369 Played Chase Mode awards recorded on October 5, 2026, only 775,017 were Wins, so roughly one in five Chase awards so far has been a winning one.

Winning a run comes down to three things:

  1. Watch what you say. The entity listens to your microphone and reacts to it — silence is the default habit that keeps runs alive.
  2. Find the maintenance keys. The map hides 3 maintenance keys, and the HUD’s 0/3 counter tracks your progress as you collect them.
  3. Learn the chase loop. The voice mechanic guide explains how the entity tracks sound and what a winning run demands before you attempt one yourself.

Why do all five badges use the same icon?

Every badge on the official game page renders the same artwork — the game’s icon with its pale, grinning entity — even though each badge has its own icon asset in Roblox’s CDN. We pulled all five through the thumbnail API and the files are byte-for-byte identical, so the developer simply reused the icon art for every badge.

Are there hidden or removed badges?

As of October 5, 2026 the official badge API returns exactly five enabled badges for the game’s universe, with no hidden entries and no additional pages behind it. One caveat: a “tutorial completed” badge reportedly visible on the creator’s own Roblox profile could not be confirmed through the public API, which requires login for user badge lists.

What about the reported tutorial badge?

A tutorial badge has been reported on the creator’s own Roblox profile, but it does not appear in the game’s official badge list. The public API for user badge inventories needs a login we do not have, so this could not be verified. The likely explanations, in order: a badge that was deleted or disabled after an early tutorial step was removed, a badge belonging to a different universe (test places keep their own badge lists), or a misread profile. If a sixth badge ever goes live, the table above gets updated the same day it is confirmed.

Do badges give any in-game rewards?

Nothing currently links any of the five badges to in-game perks or items — the game offers no badge-gated rewards that we could confirm, and the official description ties its rewards to liking the game and joining the group instead. If a future update turns badges into rewards or perks, this section gets updated first.

The rewards the game does advertise are social: like the game, join the group, get rewards.

Will more badges be added?

Almost certainly, though nothing is announced yet. The game is still flagged as BETA, Episode 1 is the only story chapter so far, and the developer is pushing updates (UPD 1.5 landed in early October 2026). An Episode 2 would bring its own play-and-finish badges, and this page gets updated the day new names appear on the badge API.

While you wait, our Episode 2 news page tracks every official sneak peek and release clue as they surface.
